Sorry, I’ve been rude to ya all. Let us start over? Allow me to re-introduce myself – I go by “The First Camper” and I’m just your everyday sneaker collector. I joined the shoe game a few years back and coppin’ sneakers has been a hobby of mine. But in addition to collecting sneakers, I’m also a sneaker reseller as well. (Yes, I said it.) I can’t help it, it’s a hobby and the money is good.
So why did I create this site? In the shoe game, it’s frowned upon to be a categorized as a sneaker reseller (also what I call SkR). It’s almost an unwritten rule in the sneaker community:
Rule #1: You do not cop sneakers to resell
Rule #2: You DO NOT cop sneakers to resell
The SkRs don’t really have a place in the shoe game and nobody likes to admit he is one. Unlike hypebeasts where their flashy clothes and accessories give away their identities, most of the SkRs are very discreet. If you were to confront an SkR, he would probably deny it and say he’s just a collector. He can’t help it — if he admit he was one, he would get hated on and risk getting beat up in the dark alley (all right, not really this serious). Well, I wanted to change that.
If you’re a reseller, then this site is for you. I put the money where my mouth is and I buy the sneakers I review. But this site isn’t JUST for SkRs. As a veteran sneaker buyer, I have pretty good luck in coppin’ the sneakers I want every month. I share these tips with you and hope my tips can help you cop your pair. I love the game and it’s my way of giving back to the sneaker community. I sincerely hope this site will continue to grow and be be helpful to ya all.
So sit back and enjoy the read. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
